CSW Solutions developed the Maintenance Activity Program to manage scheduling, assignment, execution, and billing of field jobs on a daily basis across every single town in which Mediacom has a presence.
This web application had to meet a number of challenging requirements:
1. Efficiently handle large amounts of data in real time,
2. Provide an easy-to-use interface for multiple parties to access, and
3. Ensure a high level of performance and scalability.
A synchronization module was needed to keep mobile devices connected to the system up-to-date. The module had to be smart enough to minimize the traffic on the network and prioritize information based on a previously established set of priorities.
The final product, a highly intuitive and ultra-fast web app, enabled Mediacom’s teams to start using the system with minimal training. Designed to scale with the company’s growth, the app also has a single point of maintenance that makes it simple to roll out updates.
