Legacy modernization projects — where we’re rebuilding an existing system with a parallel build approach — typically run 4–9 months depending on complexity. We give you a realistic timeline in writing after the discovery phase, not before.
We don’t publish fixed prices because the honest answer is: it depends on what you need. A targeted automation can be $15–30K. A full enterprise platform can be $150K+. What we will do is give you a clear, itemized estimate after a discovery engagement — so you understand exactly what you’re buying and why it costs what it costs. No vague ranges, no surprises mid-build.
Yes. We work with clients across the US. Most of our engagement is remote, and it works well — we run weekly demos, maintain active project channels, and keep clients closely involved throughout. For clients who prefer on-site involvement during key phases (discovery, UAT, go-live), we accommodate that too.
A rewrite replaces the system from scratch. Modernization preserves the business logic that works and replaces the architecture around it. We almost always recommend modernization where possible — it’s lower risk, lower cost, and keeps the business running throughout. A rewrite is only the right answer when the existing codebase is beyond economical repair. We tell you which one is appropriate after we’ve actually reviewed your system.
